Crew Levelling 🥇

"Level up your Crew, unlock derivatives and increase your strength in battle."

What is it? The concept involves the collective leveling of your Crew. It's not about individual NFT progression, but about working as a team to enhance your Crew as a whole.

Why is it important? There are several reasons. Primarily, it introduces a gamification layer to the Crews, encouraging Crew members to work collectively to advance their Crew. This mechanism also enables us to reward active Crews, which in turn benefits the entire Crews ecosystem. Furthermore, we will be incorporating a battle system where levels will play a significant role.

How does it work? We've considered several approaches to level up Crews but ultimately determined that the fairest method is to base it on a Crew's trading volume. The rationale for this is that a Crew with high trading volume benefits all Crews due to the equal distribution of secondary sale royalties. As such, it's only fair to reward such Crews. We may introduce additional leveling requirements in the future.

When will it start? Leveling won't commence until we've launched on all four blockchains to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for all Crews to start leveling simultaneously.

What are the rewards? Leveling will unlock rewards such as Crew derivatives, weapons, and medical supplies for battle.

How does it affect the floor price? Once implemented, we anticipate this feature will add more depth to the valuation and floor price determination for the Crews. A higher level Crew may have a better chance in battle, while a lower level Crew could present more opportunities for unlocking rewards. This dynamic will add a new layer of strategy to Crew management and value assessment.
