# $Crews token

We prioritize transparency from the very start, especially concerning the potential introduction of a new token. Although this topic has been discussed with the community in the past, we are committed to ensuring all foundations are firmly established before proceeding with this. This includes launching on all four chains and implementing leveling and battling mechanisms.

While we have already crafted a preliminary tokenomic model, our primary aim is to ensure that the token serves a functional role within the Crews universe, rather than being a mere commodity to sell. We have an array of innovative ideas to actualize this vision and we will meticulously fine-tune these details prior to making a definitive decision about incorporating a token.
